Knitted cable vest

Erika’s Nana Margaret knitted her this very cute cabled vest. Erika loved a vest as a wee one (she was only 9 months old here! Bless!), because her arms were able to move freely without the bulk of a jumper or coat. Now that she’s a little bit older, I love a vest because she is much less likely to take it off! It’s gotten loads of wear, and has now been passed on to Erika’s little cousin, Alana.

I’ve purchased the popular Milo pattern from Ravelry, and am keen to give it a go. It looks a little easier, knitted in the round. We’ll see!
